My name is Rosario and I am a manager with a passion for wine culture.
After graduating in Economics and Banking at the University of Siena, I have worked for some years in companies in the food sector in Tuscany before returning to my native town, Salerno, in order to start working with my brothers and father in our family-run business trading fish products. And as it is often the case for medium-sized family businesses, I have developed skills in the fields of commerce, marketing and human resource management.
There, I have discovered my passion for wines thanks to the Tuscan born and bred mother of my children, who made me fall in love with such a world varied in perfumes and aromas.
I then attended the AIS courses of First, Second and Third grade, acquiring extensive and profound knowledge on Italian and international viticulture, its territories and wine-food combinations.
I also lived in London for a few months where I attended both Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 courses at the prestigious WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) institution and participated in master classes and fairs to be kept up-to-date on the latest market trends.
